YOU CHOOSE is honoured to partner with the Veteran Mentors program.

Founders & Directors Glenn Filtness, Troy Methorst and Matthew French are Army veterans with extensive leadership experience during operational deployments around the world. They have learned and implemented many effective strategies for achieving personal and group success in the most challenging environments – mental and physical robustness, effective communication, conflict resolution, and fear/stress management.
​
With their team of former military colleagues, Veteran Mentors are dedicated to teaching these skills to teenagers with the aim to improve family relationships, contribute to safer communities, and enrich the lives of participants. Veteran Mentors’ fun and challenging 9-day camps uplift teens to accountability for choices and behaviours, and equips them with higher self-esteem and greater resilience.
