Eden Taylor
Eden was introduced to the YOU CHOOSE program as a Year 11 student in Brisbane during 2020; and subsquently led various mission initiatives and activities for his school as a Senior in 2021.

Eden has since completed a Cert IV in Justice Studies and plans to join the Police Service. At present, he is working as a residential care practitioner for displaced and at-risk young people, and he also volunteers with the SES. In addition, Eden is an assistant coach and trainer for numerous Rugby League teams and he’s a recruitment scout & development officer for the Sydney Roosters.

Eden’s lived-experience of social factors influencing young people’s in-the-moment choices, his clarity as a communicator, and his genuine passion to reverse current trends in teen harm, crime and road trauma statistics, are invaluable assets to the YOU CHOOSE mission
Rachelle Hanna
Rachelle completed her high school studies in Sydney at the conclusion of 2022. As a Year 11 student in 2021, she participated in the YOU CHOOSE program; and has since been inspired to change her world for the better by assisting teens to make and to advocate good choices, as a youth-led social challenge.

With her high-energy as an advocate and activist, Rachelle has volunteered many suggestions, observations and creative perspectives on improving the YOU CHOOSE mission. Her fearless feedback and first-hand understanding of social and cultural factors which influence teen behaviours are of immense value. Rachelle’s contributions are crucial to ensuring the program remains agile, curious and genuinely applicable to senior-school cohorts.

A current Bachelor of Business student at university, Rachelle aspires to a career in marketing and management. Though she will always have a passion for social change, peer advocacy and saving lives.
